Hi Alaskans!
I have a question for you: why are there no presidential polls for Alaska?
My son asked me to help him with a 'game' that he has for extra credit for a poli-sci course, they have to looks at the polls and try to take an educated guess as to the number of delegates each candidate would win in Tuesday. I know you caucus but we've searched the AK papers and polling sites and there is just no information. Are you aware of any polls?

1. I haven't seen any actual polls.
All I've seen is people surmising that Obama will do better here because Hillary has never been particularly popular in Alaska. I personally am planning to be "uncommitted" at the caucus.

2. Obama has taken the Alaska Caucuses by almost three to one over HRC.

At the caucus in Juneau, there were so many Obama people that their fan out had to be held in the lobby of Centennial Hall as opposed the ballroom, because there wasn't enough room inside the ballroom.

3. You should have seen it here, Ken...
The turnout was incredible. They had to keep the doors open for new arrivals until 7:30 (originally 6:00) because so many people were showing up. Some people had to park their cars and walk a couple of miles in the -5 temps because the traffic was backed up and there was nowhere to park. I've never seen anything like it. I was so glad we showed up at 4:30 - even then we had to park in the Fred Meyer parking lot down the block and across the street, and that parking lot was completely full by 6:30. It was really amazing.
