Antiwar local initiative idea I'm working on...whaddya think?
This is something I'll try to get on the local ballot in Juneau this October. If we could get it or something like it going in Anchorage and Fairbanks as well, it would help.

We call upon the Bush administration to take the following actions regarding Iraq.

1) Removal of all combat troops from Iraq at the earliest possible date.
2) Convening of peace and reconciliation talks in Iraq with all parties to the conflict.
3) Reallocation of all funds dedicated to military operations in Iraq to the following purposes:
A) Postwar reconstruction in Iraq
B) Full funding of veterans’ services
C) Full funding for human needs in the U.S.

The language is still in development but here's the basic idea. Any feedback would be appreciated.

1. Sounds good to me.
I'd vote for it. :)
