Who signed a constitution reform petition?
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 06:39 PM by bamacrat
At my polling place in tuscaloosa there was a woman with a petition to reform the alabama constitution. Were there other petitions elsewhere? did you sign it?

1. I solicited for two petitions
In addition to the Constitutional Reform, Alabama Arise had one to urge the Legislature to pass the "Jubilee Transportation " Amendment to support state funding of Public Transit Systems. Support for the Constitutional referendum was broadly bipartisan.

2. I signed it in Auburn
I knew the petition table would be there and sought it out (it wasn't in the most visible spot, unfortunately). Didn't see the Arise folks, but I voted right when the polls opened.
