This Is Dick. See Dick Lie. Lie, Dick, Lie!
I think that even though the scary lies (re: Iraq etc.) are more important the stupid lies, it's the stupid lies that will do them in! Stuff like saying he never has seen Edwards -- why would you even say such a stupid lie that can be instantly disproved unless you're a psychopathic liar?

The factcheck.ORG thing will be devestating for Cheney -- I hope a lot of people do find the correct site and look up how he skewed what they said about Halliburton, they were talking about a campaign ad, nothing they said refuted Edwards' claim. They gotta pound the liar theme hard....

SEE DICK LIE!

1. Right! e.g. Jim Ryun R. Ks. ran an ad against his rival Nancy Boyda,
Edited on Wed Oct-06-04 02:06 PM by patrice
claiming that she was against capturing Osama bin Laden, apparently because she has criticized Bush's War.

Nancy made them eat their words by bring a complaint against the ad, which was found to be illegal, and, as a consequence of the finding, the Ryun robots were denied some kind of lower advertising rate that they were getting.

Their ad really made them look foolish, and Nancy Boyda handled them very professionally.

2. Your on to something.....
This whole administration is crafted from One Big Lie. The fact that Cheney can lie so matter-of-factly about something so easily verifiable, should make people wonder when they are being truthful about facts not easily proven.

3. Only if the media starts spinning it as "lies"
using the word often.

Then it will stick.

They've been after Cheney though on his "misstatements" for awhile, so we can hope!

4. Exactly!!
The media is picking up on an inconsequential lie, but seeing as they usually pounce on insubstantial issues regarding Democrats, it's sweet revenge to see Repukes twisting in the wind over something they're screaming about 'has no relevance.'
