Rasmussen: Kerry 47, Bush 47
Wednesday October 06, 2004--The race for the White House is tied once again.

The latest Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll shows President George W. Bush with 47% of the vote and Senator John Kerry with 47%. While the Senator has not been ahead in the Tracking Poll since August 23, recent trends show movement in his direction.

Following last Thursday's debate, the immediate reaction was increased enthusiasm among Democrats, a solidifying of Kerry's base vote. Now, there is a decline in perceptions of the President. His Job Approval rating has dipped to 51%.

1. Since the undecideds usually split in favor of the challenger
I call that a lead for Kerry.

3. Rasmussen is run by conservative-leaning pollsters
Something to keep in mind.

They get at least a few points for trying to be scrupulous.

4. If Kerry succeed in keeping Bush under 48
Then we win. And we win big time.

Remember most polls don't consider what we expect to be a huge dem turnout. So, if Bush is under 48 in the final polls before the election then he will probably end up with 45 to 46% of the vote.

This means Kerry will win huge. 330+ EV as well as taking back the senate and closing on the repukes in the house.

What is clear right now is Kerry's got the Big Mo :)
