I haven't looked yet, but I imagine the right-wing message boards are filled with posts about how Cheney wasn't lying about meeting Edwards. Surely twisted logic will be employed ("They never actually met, Cheney just shook Edwards' hand, that's not the same as meeting someone!") to explain away Cheney's gaffe.
