Just look at the online poll results! Edwards walks away with the prize and the contest wasn't even close! This is my meme for last night's debate and much of this election, thanks to John Edwards:

We've also got the substance, but the huge factor is likeability and charm. People hate Cheney. * should have dumped him but didn't and now they are living with the consequences. For some unbelievable reason, Americans seem to kind of like *, but he's incoherent and dumb. Kerry, whose "likeability factor" is now almost even with *'s has a brilliant mind and sterling liberal credentials to boot. Call me Pollyanna if you wish, but I predict a Kerry landslide. If even half our votes get counted WE WIN this election!

Survival in this debate was enough for a knockout blow to the nightmare we have been living the past 4 years.

Edwards did much more than survive. He made Cheney look like the evil puppet master that he is.

I can not wait for the next debate.

I do think it's a bit optimistic to predict a landslide, but Kerry definately has a chance to win. WE'll see in November. That really is teh only poll that counts.
