How would this be for a comeback?
The next time someone talks about the global test from the Bush administration.

"Kerry explained in great detail that he would not give any other country veto power when it came to the United States defending itself. He said that before that step is taken, though, you need to feel that you can come back and explain afterwards that your actions were justified, to your countrymen and others around the world. It was a clear point, and frankly I would hope that a president and his administration would be able to correctly comprehend a simple statement. Maybe this explains why they haven't been able to correctly comprehend the intelligence on Iraq they were given before the war."

Or something like that.
