Holy Cazowie--Anybody else see CNN results?
The talking heads are calling it a draw, but JE is leading of AOL & CNN, and thosee are the only places I've been so far.

Dick Cheney 16% 16610 votes

John Edwards 79% 80445 votes

Evenly matched 4% 4345 votes
Total: 101400 votes

Could there be some kinda groundswell happening that the media are just totally missing?

1. It's that silent majority speaking up!!
:hi: No matter how many polls they hit, we outnumber them.

2. Edwards is kicking A!
I've been to at least a dozen polls so far and he's winning in the 80 to 90 percent range and many of these polls already have tens of thousands of voters!

3. CBS too

Dick Cheney:
22.77%
John Edwards:
75.47%
Neither man. It was a draw:
1.76%

No raw totals, no telling how many votes this is based on.

4. Cheney SUCKS
It doesn't surprise me that the American people voting on the websites are voting for Edwards over Cheney by a HUGE MARGIN.

5. It's the FREEPERS and their little SCAM
Remember the post from earlier tonight that the FREEPERS were going to vote Edwards as the winner to skew the polls so the news media would have to distance themselves from it as invalid?

7. It's not the FReepers.
Some of those polls have 300,000 votes.

9. I don't know, do you really think they could freep that badly and that
quickly? It went pretty much the same for the Bush/Kerry debate polls when freepers were trying to blame DUers for the votes. There just aren't that many of us, that was all the "regular" public. I think there are just that many people that don't like Cheney.

The closing arguments may have clinched it. Would you vote for hope and a brighter future or fear?

6. I think so.
The media for the large part are right back in their twilight zone of Republican partiality. They like stern and grumpy, and evasive. The American people don't.

I hope they get exposed for the biased morons they really are. And have it shown to them they ain't fooling nobody.

I can't wait for their weathermen style apologies. How could we be so wrong?

8. I think there is a groundswell

People are seeing for themselves the sorry leadership we've had for the past four years. I'm just sorry that it's come at such a high price in terms of lives lost in Iraq, jobs lost at home, etc.

10. MSNBC: Edwards 71%, Cheney 29% and...
...and I emailed MSNBC and told them that, after the horrendous post-debate spin Matthews, Scarborough, and Russert put on the evening, I would be sticking with PBS for meaningful analysis

11. Forget the specific points. Forget the logic.
Just react with your gut like a beer-swilling undecided airhead. Visualize Cheney. Visualize Edwards. Which one seems to be the nicer person? Who do you LIKE better? Which one would you want to move in next door?

I think it's that simple. We're all intellectualizing too hard.

12. These talking heads are NUTS!
Every poll I've seen has Edwards beating Cheney's sorry ass by a farking MILE. Cheney was disgusting. Edwards was full of positive energy. The talking heads must've watched a different debate, and they sure as hell aren't looking at their own polls. They are obviously out of touch with the view of the American people. sheesh

13. I think the talking heads are used to expressing the CW drivel..
and getting away with it. They have been giving the RW a pass for so long they haven't looked up to see that the populace has "moved on".
