My parents are trial lawyers and I am really pissed over this issue. Edwards is about to kick this crooks' ass on this issue.

3. heard on NPR today (I think) that individuals
are NOT the ones who are filing the most frivilous lawsuits, it is CORPORATIONS!

he filed a lawsuit against a car rental company for an accident his daughter was in. His insurance would have covered the damage, but he took it to court, and it was thrown out.

9. it is mostly construction (contract defect) lawsuits that clog the system
(and i work for one of those firms)....

He said nothing about how lawsuits are going down, award amounts are going down and premiums are still going up.

He also said nothing about how investment losses are the primary cause of premium increase.

I would have easily gotten it out, and still had time to mention all the frivolous lawsuits Cheney filed as CEO of Halliburton.
