I just watched "The Hunting of the President"

I've decided that its best to cool off a little before I make any other comments.

2. Damn good movie

I think being here on DU and reading so many facts that the average news channel viewer doesn't get to see desensitized me to the facts in both this and F 9/11. All of it doesn't make me less pissed, it just makes me shake my head in disgust instead of lighting a torch and burning Republican establishments to the ground.

I just feel for Susan McDougal the most. That poor woman went to prison for virtually nothing.

I think Republicans and Ken Starr should personally be billed for the tens of millions of taxpayer dollars the defrauded the American public for that bogus investigation.

3. I bought it on DVD at Costco,

but I haven't seen it yet. But I plan on loaning it out to anyone who will take it, just like I do with "Outfoxed", and "Uncovered".

7. We saw it in a theater, then bought

Susan McDougal's book to support her.

She is an amazing woman.

Now I've bought the DVD, too, to hand around.

The book made me so damn mad I couldn't read more than 2 or 3 pages at a time.

5. the thing that really gets me

is how the RW continues to try to convince the public that there is some sort of liberal bias in the media, when it is clear that the media is now bought and paid for by the RW.

Will there be a day when people finally realize they've been had? If last Thursday's debate wasn't that day then we're doomed as a free society.

I'll be damned if I'm going to stand by and watch my country fall into the hands of a small, well organized and very well funded group of fascists. No fucking way.

6. I can't bring myself to watch it yet. I'm still furious with the way

Clinton was treated. History will be kinder to him, but for the time being, I'm still angry. Maybe when I'm euphoric over Kerry's win in four more weeks I'll be able to watch it.
