I pulled off my tinfoil hat and those thoughts just started...
Bushie seem so uncomfortable, bored, scared (name your favorite adjective) during the debate Thursday night I couldn't help but think he wanted to be ANYWHERE but in that auditorium having to work hard. Is there any chance that Cheney and the puppet masters have a plan that once Bush is re-selected that Bush will find some reason not to fulfill his term?

Bush apparently hates the job - likes the perks - but hates the hard stuff. His ego wants him to do something dear ol' Daddy couldn't pull off but four more years of this hard job? Puleeze. So if Bush wins then the field is clear for him to step down for some innocuous reason with his head held high. Cheney can then step up to the plate for (good grief, I retch at the thought) of eight years of continued BS. Cheney wouldn't be able to get elected four years from now but as the sitting prez...the possibilities are frighting.

Talk me into putting the hat back on.

2. More fun with Tinfoil........
Your theory is bordering on the reason I think McCain is playing kissy-face with Bush*.

If, god forbid, the smirker-in-chief is re-selected, Cheney will step down, and McCain will become VP. Then Chimpy will be impeached or step down for other reasons and McCain will get the ultimate revenge.........as long as he agrees to pardon the whole traitorous crew!!!!!!

3. What did Kerry say to Jr during handshake?
It seems possible that Kerry said something that threw Bush off.

I don't see why they'd need a new puppet.

6. Maybe he called him his Skull and Bones nickname?
or maybe Kerry reminded him of what he had to do to get initiated?

10. That's It! That's It!
He called Bush "Temporary." (That was his Skull & Bones name, after all.)

5. Before you go too far
on this line of thought, wait until tomorrow night when JE makes Iraqi meatloaf out of Snarley. Cheney can't possibly keep his cool when JE exposes all his lies. Cheney has always been unable to tell the truth, Edwards will expose this.

15. Cheney has ice water
where blood ought to be. I don't believe he can be rattled, and I don't think he'll lose his cool. He has a gazillion facts at his fingertips and Edwards is on an uneven field. He (Edwards) is positioned to be a more traditional VP, and Cheney is anything but typical of the breed.

11. I've often thought that Cheney will get conveniently sick
and be replaced by McCain, thereby setting the stage for an impeachment of that incompetent boob we've been stuck with for 4 long years.

But I prefer a colander to tinfoil. Even by itself, it makes a jaunty fashion statement, and you can hang seasonal decorations off the upturned feet.

12. Hey, I've got a colander! I'm back in fashion.
McCain is a good tote the water boy but the neocon will never let him sit at the big boys' table. He will have to be someone much more radical than McCain. I'm thinking Asscroft (that's not a typo). Still think that Cheney wants the power AND the title. Bush is expendable to this bunch - Cheney isn't.

14. In all fairness,
didn't he see on TV how hard soldierin' was? Boy, oh boy, he made the right decision to have Poppy get him into the Guard.

Bein' pruzidunt is hard too, and he hopes we can see that on TV!

16. Wow!
I was thinking the same thing but was afraid to post it. Maybe that is why Shrub refuses to take his physical until after election. If Shrub wins, then it can become Cheney/McCain.
