Was Clark actually copying Dean's middle class tax cut plan?
Dean has planned all along to have a middle class tax reform plan--after he repeals all of Bush's tax cuts. I'm wondering if Clark knew this and just rushed his plan out to "beat him to the punch"?

12. I agree, the timing is fishy.
I'm wondering why, once Dean had announced his tax reform plan, then Clark comes out with his "plan". Seems fishy.

14. Yes, he copied using Deans photocopier
It took a while because there were too many fliers laying around.

Does Clark get credit for anything? Clark is now wearing sweaters because Dean was going to wear sweaters in 2010.

20. The important thing to me
is the plan itself. If it's a good one, I don't much care how someone arrives at it. ;-)

24. Wesley Clark
Howard Dean has said many times in person and on TV, and in print...that he would repeals all of the Bush tax cuts. All of them. So if Dean is now saying...nevermind. I don't believe a word he says. In a perfect world all the Dean supporters would vote for Kucinich, anyway, but they are too afraid. Now all these idealistic Dean supporters are caught up in the machinations of hardball politics, slipping into the very sewer we are trying to keep the whole political discourse from sinking into. Wesley Clark will win, and that will be a very good thing for all of us. Then we will exert the power we have to make changes that erase the devastation that Bush has caused. I've taken to communicating directly with potential voters on a one to one basis. Dean supporters should really look at what they are doing and ask themselves if that is who they want to be.

25. This thread is outright Dean supporter fantasy.....
First off, Clark's cut is targeted toward families
w/ children both working and the middle class. Secondly,
Dean hasn't release his plan yet, so it would be hard
to copy. Third, Dean is going after Payroll taxes
(which is also a fine idea), which is different than
straight up Federal income taxes .

Come on...
