How will CNN spin their new poll?
Edited on Sun Oct-03-04 05:31 PM by senseandsensibility
What reasons will Judy woofwoof, Leslie, and Billy Schneider give for this gain by Kerry? How will they assure the sheeple that it doesn't matter? You know they'll try. But how? Let's anticipate their spin. We need to let them know we're on to them before the next debate.

By the way, GREAT NEWS THAT WE'RE TIED IN A GALLUP POLL! You know that means, don't you? We're WAY ahead! WOO-HOOOOOO!!!!!:toast:

3. LOL
"We'll have to see if this keeps up," sounds just like woofwoof, with that pained, constipated expression on her face.

4. Bush closes the gap!!!! Kerry loses the 8 point lead he had in March!!!!
Rumors of a staff shakeup!!!!

http://www.gallup.com/poll/content/login.aspx?ci=10942

The latest CNN/USA Today/Gallup survey of American voters finds Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry leading President George W. Bush among registered voters 50% to 45%, and among likely voters by 52% to 44%. When Ralph Nader is included in the hypothetical matchup, the consumer activist takes votes away from Kerry, but not from Bush. The poll also shows Bush’s job approval at 49%, tied for the lowest rating of his presidency.

6. It's a dead heat, bush is stull incredibly popular, Kerry is still not
acceptable to most voters, has a lot of work to do.

WTF is up with THAT?

what would have happened if she'd gotten even a small percentage of the time given to John ONeill?

Kerry only tied with largely unpopular President.

8. They'll talk about chimp's approval numbers
which, they will be sure to tell us, "reach that all-important threshold of 50%. Analysts suggest that no sitting president with a 50% approval rating has ever lost his re-election bid."

Count on it.

9. Still no report on the internals? 49/49 LV is great (& small Bush+ RV)but
Gallup debate poll had Bush winning several categories, despite losing the debate

Bush over Kerry – 50/45 percent - on more believable

49 / 46 percent on which candidate did better on the issues

48 / 41 on more likable

54/37 on "tough enough"on terror

Despite Gallups samplying problems, it would be interesting to see the new polls results to see what the trend is.

10. MSNBC and The Daily Show have made CNN second string.
CNN tried to be Fox Lite and ended up being nowhere. The right loves Fox and the enlightened watches Oberman and Stewart. CNN shot it's load and is now done. See ya.

16. Fickle journalists will amplify the shift
They are not all Bushites but they do want to pick the winner. Whenever the media shifts it becomes harder for the other side to get traction. Let's make it last 'til November and beyond!

Take no prisoners.
