I'll believe it when I see Kerry sitting in the oval office and Bush being led off in handcuffs, not before.
The elections are a dogfight and a mud battle by now, and W's crew has expertise on those. Redrawing electoral boundaries, scratching people from voting lists, they'd do anything to put him in office for a second time.
Of course, the debates are a nice fish-in-barrel tour for Kerry against the likes of George "It's-hard-work" Dubya, but I've sort of lost faith in the concept that the voters are the people who actually decide in this election. Hoping for the best, anyway, but I won't be cheering till it's over.
(When I previewed this, I saw TomClash has by now written the same thing, but I've decided to post this anyway).
Edit: It seems I take too long posting in any case.
"You can only steal an election that is close"
Rather, 'no election has ever been stolen that was not close'. Also, with few if any exceptions, has no administration ever been this dirty and corrupt in their campaigning.
Whatever it is they'll do - from scratching voters off the lists to pulling Osama (or his corpse) out of their hats to cancelling the election and declaring national emergency, there'll be some mischief before the end, I'm certain.
