John Kerry's Iraq policy in 10 words or less.
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 09:44 PM by Nimble_Idea
Bush's Stance = "Stay the Course" which is a loser

Kerry's Stance = "Change the Course, To a course of Victory" or something along those lines.

The American People reject Staying the course, and they reject John Kerry is a flip flopper for every answer Shrub gives. It is really getting old. It's more of an excuse than what Shrub is going to do ....staying the course and john kerry is a flip flopper is not an acceptable answer to: What the hell are we going to do in iraq?

SOrry bub shrub, your not getting reSelected.

Do your own due dilligence on Kerry's record. Here, let me help you get started:

Are you seriously suggesting that Bush didn't make the decision to go to war in Iraq? If you don't think he exercized sound judgement on that matter, you ought to be voting for Kerry. If you do think he exercized sound judgement, you ought to read a newspaper. Here, let me point you in the right direction:

Whenever someone asks me why Kerry voted for war and then opposed it, I'm going to quote you.

2. Robert Fisk was talking about this, this morning
On Democracy Now.

His biggest complaint was that he felt that both Kerry and Bush were under delusions about Iraq and the entire ME, including Palestine and that Kerry's attitude about getting the allies to step up to the plate was not going to work, the place is absolutely unsalvageable.

A couple of thoughts: 1) I think Kerry actually understands that. If I were him, I wouldn't be campaigning on the theme that we've lost Iraq even if that's what I thought. 2) Fisk and the other "realists" don't go further, at least, not that I've heard, and offer any suggestions on what the alternatives are. Just because there are no GOOD alternatives doesn't mean there aren't any alternatives, and 3) Kerry is likely thinking that chances of success may be slim, but they're better if he gets more engagement with other countries than not.

I think Europe is looking for a deal and is waiting to see how Nov 2 turns out. They just won't deal with Bush. They know they're going to get dragged into Iraq sooner or later, but if it is with Bush, it will be much later.

IMHO

7. Wrong time, wrong place, wrong war....
Because Iraq really did not have anything to do with the war on terror. Kerry was right the first time.

12. Kerry--invading a country for the sole purpose--
--of installing permanent bases there against their will is STOOPID!

Bush--exactly the opposite.
