Kerry could have kick the turds a$$ with no help but * seemed hell bent on making it easy for him. He could have screwed himself standing alone too.

1. I agree. I think Kerry went easy on him ...

letting him dig his own grave. I think that he'll be more willing to shut him down completely by the final debate, once * has already crippled himself. If Kerry would have really gone after him, the media would have made it negative.

and yet his answers seemed directed at Kerry, while Kerry's seemed strictly directed toward Lehrer. Maybe it was the split screen - or not.

3. Kerry did a brilliant thing ...

He stood there quietly and let Chimpy hang himself. Kerry didn't even have to break a sweat! He stated his positions calmly and intelligently. All he did was state the facts and Chimpy panicked because he had no defense, so he simply unraveled ... in front of the whole country! :evilgrin:


On edit: I totally agree with PittLib. If Kerry attacked Bush*, the media would have been all over him in order to convince at least half the country that Bush's poor performance wasn't his fault - he only got flustered because big, bad John Kerry was mean to him! :eyes:
