3762 miles and 358 Kerry/Edwards yard signs!

Just got back from our trans-country vacation (Louisiana Gulf Coast to Canada and back) and here is our unofficial count of yard signs/bumper stickers sighted along the way:

Kerry/Edwards yard signs: 358
Bush/Cheney yard signs: 192

Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers: 97
Bush/Cheney bumper stickers: 32

And the sweetest part was finding out that my entire family will be voting for Kerry! Half of them voted for bush* last time, but really regret it and won't be making that mistake again!

around 3 to 1 on bumper stickers and over 2 to 1 on yard signs. Wow!

And the funny thing is, they have those studies out saying the base for bush is so much more dedicated and loyal than Democrats are to Kerry.

Your survey would cast doubt on that study.

4. It was amazing to see all the different Kerry stickers and signs

Sportsmen for Kerry, Veterans for Kerry, Iron workers for Kerry, Hunters for Kerry, Teachers for Kerry...and the list goes on and on! It was really funny to see some of the yard sign placements. There would be one house with a Bush sign in the front yard, and all the other houses around it would have Kerry signs in their yards! There was one house that had a Bush sign in their yard, and the house next door had one of those portable electric signs with the blinking arrow in their yard that had the arrow pointing at the Bush sign next door with the word MORAN spelled out in big, black letters! The bottom of the sign had a big Kerry/Edwards banner on it. That was one of the funniest things I had ever seen!
