12. Probably a "mistake", but...

It is common practice for journalists to write up a story in draft form, leaving spaces for quotes and other pertinent information that needs to be added later.

The "placeholders" for the real quotes were filled with the fabricated quotes that represent Faux's slant. Bet the boys in the newsroom busted a gut over these witticisms.

Somebody either jumped the gun on posting the story or "let it happen on purpose" and put the draft on-line.

If this were a reputable news outlet, I'd be inclined to write it off as an innocent mistake, but since it's Faux, I can't be sure there wasn't some method in their madness.

Let me get this straight. The chief political corrEspondent for a major news network made up fake, embarrassing quotes for a man who is running for the presidency? THE CHIEF POLITICAL CORRESPONDENT.
