What Were the Best Points Made by KERRY?
My pick:

The only building that was guarded when the troops when into Baghdad was the oil ministry. We didn't guard the nuclear facilities. We didn't guard the foreign office, where you might have found information about weapons of mass destruction. We didn't guard the borders.

1. I appreciated the mention...
that more nuclear material was secured in Russia during the 2 years preceding Sept 11 as compared to the last 2 years.

4. I love when Kerry quoted Poppy Bush.
That one really seemed to piss of Bush.

I think that every democrat can shout "bring it on."

5. "Jim, the president just said something extraordinarily revealing "
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 01:08 PM by Stephanie
KERRY: Jim, the president just said something extraordinarily revealing and frankly very important in this debate. In answer to your question about Iraq and sending people into Iraq, he just said, "The enemy attacked us."

Saddam Hussein didn't attack us. Osama bin Laden attacked us. al Qaeda attacked us. And when we had Osama bin Laden cornered in the mountains of Tora Bora, 1,000 of his cohorts with him in those mountains. With the American military forces nearby and in the field, we didn't use the best trained troops in the world to go kill the world's number one criminal and terrorist.

They outsourced the job to Afghan warlords, who only a week earlier had been on the other side fighting against us, neither of whom trusted each other.

6. I saw a couple people in the "undecided" groups that some channels
had, who acted like this was really news to them.

One said that he thinks the American people deserve an answer for why this Administration did this. He thought it was terrible.

In a different group, a lady said it made her rethink the whole idea that Bush was doing a good job fighting terrorism.

Hello, people! Welcome to the real world.

We need commercials of this information. A lot of people just have not known this information.
