ALERT: Report of voter tampering in FLORIDA !!!!!
Are the Repubs trying to suppress the vote in Daytona Beach????

I talked with a co-worker this morning.

She reports that her mother in Daytona Beach received a letter from the Voter registrar indicating that they had received a request for an Absentee Ballot but the signature did not match the signature on record.

The woman had not requested an absentee ballot!!!!!!

The woman has contacted the Voter Registrar's office and informed them that she HAD NOT requested such a ballot and that she would vote in person....

This incident has been reported to the FL Dem Party who will have an attorney investigate....

I will keep you informed of what happens

6. It's possible
I was in traffic and only perked up when I heard "the signatures didn't match". They moved on quickly after that./

4. If its there - where else is it?
I've sometimes wondered if the major networks have
betrayed all common sense so when the fix is in they
will be able to 'told you so'. I'm very nervous about
verifiable voting nationwide. Anyone else?

5. How better to get people to NOT absentee vote....
than to give them doubts about THAT procedure as well? Everybody use your machines like good little Germans. That's it. All is well. The fuehrer loves you. And so does his brother.

God I hate these selfish fucks.

10. Dems have lots of attorneys
I am told that the Dems in FL have lots of attorneys -- some from as far away as CALF have come...

9. underhanded way to disqualify voters???
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 12:16 PM by Supersedeas
would you be surprise if she showed up at the polls on election day to find that she is not allowed to vote b/c 'she' (her name) has already been submitted on an absentee ballot.

Curious: lots of registered Dems voting for Bush on these absentee ballots? hmmm

11. Florida allows early voting at the county elections offices.
Since from what we see here there may be tampering by Republican crooks, requesting absentee ballots for registered Democrats using phony signatures, etc. Don't risk being turned away at the voting precinct on election day, because the records show that you have already voted! Instead vote early, and if something "funny" is going on, you may be able to get it corrected in time to vote. That's what I plan to do. It is outrageous that the vote in Florida is so suspect, thanks to Jeb Bush and Glenda Hood. It will take a miracle for Kerry to win our state, even though there will be more people trying to vote for him!
