TPM: CNN Scammed by an "undecided voter"?

Did CNN get scammed by an 'undecided voter' who happens also to be a big muckety-muck in his campus branch of College Republicans?

Does someone at CNN have a response they can send in about this?

By the way, I'd be happy to come on as an undecided voter too ...

1. i have decided that many "openly" undecideds are not really undecideds

i think the true undecideds are those who don't pay attention and certainly would not show up as undecideds to discuss politics. if they were that involved they would most likely already know where candidates stand and should have their minds made up.

i think the true undecideds are those who don't really pay attention and just vote based on how they feel in the end.

there are a few informed undecideds such as republicans with a member of the family in the military who worry bush is doing a crappy job and worry about their family member. in this case they would be willing to vote for kerry if they think he would do a better job.

3. What makes anyone think Hemmer was fooled though?

Ever since Kerry really started going on the attack, I've been watching Hemmer and to me he comes across as a Bush faithful and that will spin it with the best.
