1. How about Turkey?

Turkey is moving towards "freedom" and acceptance in the European Union. They are managing to do it under their own steam, without any military invasions by George Bush.

2. Said something similar
during that infamous "Mistakes? Nah, can't think of a one!" press conference - along the lines of "some people think brown people can't be free/govern themselves - I don't agree"

I was stunned that he trotted that racist BS out again. Didn't he poll on that?!

3. Nonsense

Malaysia is a democracy, with a new prime minister, Abdullah Badawi. Indonesia just had an election, and 110 million voters chose Susilo Bambang Yudoyono (SBY) to replace President Megawati Sukarnoputri next month.

What does * mean by "free?" If he is in the process of bringing freedom to Islamic countries how come he supports the dictator of Islamic Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf?

4. Projection
He's used that BS line quite a bit. Of course, no one, especially Bush, has been able to explain just whom he's talking about (though I would lean towards Daniel Pipes and his crew).

I think, though, it's most likely a case of projection, where the "accuser" is the one afflicted with the belief/fear/etc. that he accuses others of having. I recently read that "Bush on the Couch" book, and projection is a significant part of Bush's apparent psychological make-up.
