at his campaign event, the mother of the dead soldier. :mad:

3. He was talking about Mindy (actually it was Missy)

Missy is apparently a woman who was married to a soldier killed in Iraq. Bush spoke about giving her love after her husband died.

It was very strange.

But if I was Mindy I would have been insulted by the way he tried to use my pain to advance his cause, and then he couldn't even do it right!

That was kind of a low-point for W in the debate, I think.

5. I noticed the "I tried to give her love" line - really wacked

Not a compelling story at all. Reminded everybody that shrimp-chimp hasn't attended any funerals of the war dead. Hasn't visited any wounded either.

My son noticed that "Mindy" had to seek out shrub - chimp actually said that she approached him.

8. It was some rehearsed bullshit that was supposed to make

him look all warm and fuzzy and caring about the dead soldiers and their families. Instead it came off sounding like rehearsed bullshit, and then he completely pissed down his leg and said something about giving the woman love, which made about a million people remember his line about the OB-Gyn docs not being able to practice their love on their patients. I thought he might have a little mini meltdown on the spot - you could almost see him mentally drooling for a few seconds....
