A few minutes after the last words of the debate are spoken, the TV audience will shake ourselves awake and hope to have it boiled down for us by responsible media analysts. As if it were some kind of NFL game, where the score is already posted, and all we need to see are the highlights from memorable plays to tell us why...

As such, W has already won.

The pre-debate spin is just a bunch of lowered expectations for W.

The post-debate spin will be about how W transcended those expectations, lasting the full 90 minutes and preventing the "knockout punch" from a professional debater by strongly holding ground.
