Poll question: Poll: Can we all agree that if Kerry wins OHIO we win the election?

I can assure you that I am not mocking anyone in this poll. The NO option isn't meant to be stupid, merely anxiously pessimistic. (Something I am prone to myself)

1. Agreed, but Bush needs OHIO more than Kerry needs OHIO
Bush to Rove: "Can't you get one of them hurricanes to hit Ohio a few weeks from now - heh heh"

2. If he also wins Florida, then YES, for sure.
But we can't trade Ohio for Florida. We HAVE to win Florida.

3. An Ohio win will go a long way towards a win
but it does not guarantee it.

Different states have different issues, & you can t lump them all together.

4. I do not believe Kerry will concede any state. I believe the pollsters are
wrong. It is part of the pushing Bush on all of us. There are many voters out there going for Kerry. When my daughter-in-law told me all 500 employees at her firm are voting for Kerry that there will be a win for Democrats in November. And this is in TN.

5. On OH win means he wins the election ...
in Ohio.

OH + FL and it would be difficult to lose, IMHO.

6. With either Florida or Ohio, we win.
And we have New Jersey. Polls are bullshit.

7. Bush CANNOT win without Ohio, Kerry can.
Therefore, a Kerry win in Ohio, locks it up for us. Same with Florida.

8. Kerry wins Ohio==>Kerry is next president.
It's not just because of Ohio's electoral votes. It's because what that means in the election overall. Ohio is a slightly Repug leaning state. Kerry winning there means Bush* is in BIG trouble in other Repug leaning states as well.

It's difficult to put together a scenario where Bush* wins if he loses either Florida or Ohio. Kerry can win without either one, but it would be a tough row to hoe.
