Does anyone buy this this supposed phenomenon? I don't have cable or satellite, so all I get is the network junk. Are there any legitimate polls showing Bush even with Kerry in the female vote?

and polls lately show Kerry hasn't gotten similar numbers.

The ones that are on Kerry's side see fundamentally through Bush's BS and/or see no positive aspect in the war.

But then there's all these soccer mom's that went out and bought the $1.50 magnetic ribbons for their SUVs and thought it cool to act like they were behind the troops. The biggest poll number shifts are in the married middle class/upper middle class range where the "it's better to fight them over there than over here" and "kick ass" mentality has taken root.

Kerry key counters:

1. The lesson of 911 - was that terrorists can attack and cause massive damage using low tech weapons and with small groups of people. Our real emminent threat IS NOT countries, but our careless attitude about securing ourselves from these same random elements that could be here already and who can work right under our unsuspecting noses.

2. Our resources are essentially being squandered in Iraq, when they could be used here at home with much greater payoff.

3. Kerry will build a multinational/Iraqi anti-terrorist police force in Iraq as soon as possible, then go on as quickly as possible to the REAL problem, which is homeland security.
