I think it's just the opposite
He got us in this war but I'll be damned if he's able to get us out!

1. lack of grammar is the first sign of insanity
Not following your president is the second.

Look man, Bush didn't start the war in Iraq, Osama did. Have you not learned anything these past few months?

Crazy, crazy world!

2. Someone on a bipartisan forum I participate in said
something similar today. Must be the new Repub talking point. Edwards said that Bush & Cheney started the war. The Repub said that that was ridiculous, that Bush had not started the war. I guess they're referring to 9/11, and to Saddam violating the UN regulations? Of course that's not the same thing as starting a WAR, but silly Bush followers will swallow anything.

Does this mean that Bush sees this IW thing as a weak point?

4. That's one of the problems with their highly skewed 'reality'
It stops making sense to people who haven't bought into it.

I think they are trying to again insinuate that the Iraq war was due to the attacks on 9/11. Totally false, and downright nonsensical to anyone with half a brain in their head, but that's their reality for ya.

5. I just saw this too
It's from Progress for America. It looked like a 527 ad, but I checked their website and they said they are are a 501(c). Can a 501(c) endorse a candidate? I'd say they were endorsing dubya.

14. I see now, thanks.
But anyway, it looked like they outright endorsed dubya. Anyone know off hand where to send a complaint about this?

Thanks

6. Well, It can't mean Iraq--and it can't mean "the war on terror"
since Bush has already said that its going to last a generation and we may never win. But I guess that it is just too good a line to not use in a campaign commercial, no matter if it makes sense according to the facts or not.

7. I have heard the idiot say this several times.
He sure as hell did start the war. It was a war of choice. A war that didn't need to be fought.

9. If anyone ends it, it sure won't be Bush.
Meanwhile, many kids are dying for his pathetic lack of leadership.

10. Osama morphed into Saddam,
or didn't you get the word from CNN and Fox and the other media whores earlier?

Saddam (aka Osama) was responsible for 9/11. Therefore, Saddam started the war on Terror.

That's why Bush went to Iraq, where things are going just swell. Iraq will soon have democratic elections just like the 2000 Florida election.

Bush will keep us all safe and secure as long as we are willing to live in a parallel universe where up is down.

19. Exactly right - Osadam (Saddama?) needs to be stopped.
So seamlessly blended that even Don Rumsfeld can't get them straight.
Oh, wait, he can't get anything straight these days.

13. I hear it every day
In Iowa it is on all the time. It is the scariest ad I have seen. A 527 puts this on and I think their defense is the war on terror is the one that they mean. I think that that line at the end takes the credibility out of the ad.

17. If some freeptard decides to use this freeplogic on you,
ask them - "So, we invaded Iraq to kill Osama, right?"

Of course, the stupid freeplogic is that "Bush didn't start the war on Terror but he'll end it". Right. Except that we are in Iraq, which is the war that Bush started.

And if they want to go back in history to claim that Bush didn't start the war, tell them, yes, Bush (41) did.

20. Same tired right-wing line: 9/11=Osama=Saddam="War On Terror"
To the right-wing mind, they're all the same. They have to keep things **very** simple.

And it's sickening.
