I'm starting to believe that a vote for Nader will be a vote against Bush.
Now hear me out on this one. I honestly think that not one liberal alive will cast a vote that will enable George Dubya Bush to remain pResident.

Not one!

So, who will vote for Nader? It will be a voter who hasn't made up their mind (A Moron Voter)when they walk into the voting booth or a voter who hates both canidates and won't vote for either one.

Now...if that voter walks into the booth and Ralph's not on the ballot, who are they most likely to throw the lever for? I say George Dubya Bush. WHY! Because it's all they know. Hell, even Paris Hilton knows who Bush is.

MHOP

Now with that said...If you're a Liberal and vote for Nader, I'll hunt you down and whoop your ass!

1. Sorry, I don't agree
I think there are liberals who are frustrated with Kerry's ambivalence on the Iraq war. I have a friend like that, and try as I like, I still haven't convinced her to vote for Kerry.

2. The undecided vote will go to Kerry
They are undecided about Kerry, they already know bush, and don't like it

Nader is no liberal. He is a selfish egotestical jerk

It's just that I don't think Ralph is going to hurt us like I use too.

4. WRONG! I personally know a Nader/Kerry supporter who says
flat out, IF nadar is on the ballot in Missouri, he's voting for him. He hates bush, likes Kerry, but Nader appeals to him more, and he says "oh, my vote won't hurt Kerry."

EVERY VOTE COUNTS and it's a shame that Nader will drain the votes of people who could make a difference in the future of the world.

Nader disgusts me, with his narcissicism.

5. Her name's Janet, and she's in Flint, MI
Go to it. She's a liberal, and will not vote for John Kerry. She's fucking voting for Nader, no matter how much anyone tries to talk her out of it.

7. GOP-ers can vote for Libertarian guy - he is on almost all ballots
and willfully ignored by media, pollsters for the obvious reason. I too know a liberal guy voting for Nader.

8. I disagree. First of all Nader is
(or was) much more to the left of Kerry. So no Republican will vote for him because they are angry at Bush. The best we can hope is they will stay home or vote for the Libertarian. Most of Nader's votes will come from those idealistic but misguided people who still see Nader for what he once was and who still foolishly believe, even after 4 years that there really isn't much difference between the 2 major Parties. These people still think they are making an important statement by voting for Nader even though what they will do if enough of them turn out is help facilitate Facism in this country.

9. I know likely Nader voters here in MN who would never ever vote for Bush
If Nader were not on the ballot (and he will be on it here in MN), they would likely vote Cobb. They don't support Kerry because they believe he is pro corporate military industrial complex. No way they would vote Bush under any circumstances. Luckily, their numbers are relatively small. I'd guess that about 80% of 2000 Nader voters will vote Kerry. Since Nader got 5% of the vote here in MN in 2000, that leaves about 1% for Nader which would be a problem if very close. But I think it won't be that close--Kerry will win MN by several percentages.

The good news in this respect is that Kerry may not be on the ballot in WI if recent judicial ruling holds up on appeal. That would be huge. I'm much more concerned about Nader affect in WI, than here in MN.

It is a huge leap to think that somebody who votes for Nader this time would turn around and vote for Kerry if Nader were not on the ballot. They would probably either write in Nader, vote for Cobb or somebody else, or just stay home. I may be in the minority on this but I don't believe Nader will pull votes from Kerry, more likely from Bush if anyone.

14. I think Nader voters
are primarily young idealistic kids that would otherwise not vote at all. It doesn't hurt Kerry or Bush. I'd love to get them to the poles for Kerry but if they wouldn't otherwise go what difference does it make? If they actually do show up. Most informed voters are well aware of the stakes. The repugs are wasting their time promoting Nader. Only a fool would vote for him or they just wouldn't vote. And just maybe when they get into the booth they'll decide that they want their votes to count and will pull the lever for Kerry after all.

17. Most Nader voters I know are older cynics.
Typically over 40 and hardened bitter activists. Jaded enough to believe that Kerry like Clinton will not stop the killing machine. They would apparently rather throw their vote away in a symbolic protest over military madness, rather than vote for a candidate they find morally reprehensible. Purists of the most narrow sort.

Young idealists support Kerry, by and large.

16. A vote for Nader is a vote for someone who would be a crappy President!
If you are an idealist, and want to vote for the best candidate regardless of party....Nader is a crappy choice! He doesn't have a clue. And he is an egotist. He made fun of Michael Moore's WEIGHT, not the substance of Moore's ideas. Even a Republican would be smarter than to make fun of someone's weight forchrisake! So, if you are an idealist, why don't you just write in a decent choice instead of voting for a friggin moron?
