Question on Bush's war on terror

I was watching Aaron Brown tonight on CNN (yes, I was watching CNN.....so shoot me) and he was interviewing George Soros. And during the interview he said there is no evidence the the war in Iraq has helped al Qaeda's recruitment.

Is there some report either from the CIA, some other intelligence agency, pr some study that hjas been done that proves Aaron Brown wrong? I thought I read in some newspaper that al Qaeda has grown at least 50 times in size since the war in Iraq began.

Does anyone have any proof of this so that I can shoot off an email to Mr. Brown?

1. Bottom line, anyone that says anything about al quaeda is

bullshitting out of their ass. Al quaeda is known to be all over the globe, and is an underground organization. How can anyone put true tabs on something like that? If the u.s. gov't doesn't know how many illegals sneak across our borders everyday, how could they possible know the recruting status of an organization that has been festering in almost every country of the world?

what aaron brown is doing is the same as how cheney says there's wmd in iraq. remember how he said there's no proof that there's NOT wmd's in iraq?

brown was just using deceptive debate tactics to make soros look bad.
