Not bragging here but perhaps an indication of how strongly myself

and other people are feeling about the election this year. I am a small business owner and began contributing (personal funds) to the Clark campaign last winter. Although a loyal and diehard DEM and had worked for campaigns and GOTV, I had NEVER contributed actual money before. After the Clark campaign was over, I started giving monthly to Kerry. Since the convention I have contributed to MoveOn, one of the DEM GOTV drives and the DNC.

My brother in Ohio and my son in Washington state say the same thing. Never contributed before but giving as much as possible this year. My daughter is registering voters at her outdoor cafe in Oregon. And on and on.

There is a lot of energy all around, folks.
Keep up the hard work and keep the faith.

.... and I've never sent a dime to a political campaign before.

I've made several contributions this year, to Dean, Morrison, and Kerry.

It's important for those who can afford to contribute to do so. Money can't buy an election but the lack of funds can lose one, that is a certainty.
