1. Get real! NC is republican. Without Edwards, Bush would be
15 pts ahead in NC.

Edwards is forcing republicans to spend money and time in the state. they were taking it for granted before. but now it's at least competitive.

6. I live in NC
you don't need to tell me its Republican. But it is also ran by Democrats in state offices. My point is this lead can be even closer if Edwards spends more time here campaigning. But thanks anyway for your smartass comment.

10. NC is within the MOE and winnable
if the ground game has been as good as in OH and FL then NC will definately go Kerry/Edwards

9. Why are Bowles and Easley doing so well compared to K/E?
Hey,

It's not accurate to call NC a "Republican state" in light of the big leads the Dem candidates for governor and senator are sustaining. How the hell can Carolinians split their tickets and vote for Bush, Easley, and Bowles? Yet obviously the poll results indicate a large number are doing so.

I'd rather see Burr or Ballantine in the White House than the idiot who is there now.
