Bush is coming to Springfield, Ohio this afternoon. I'm not going, but several of my right-wing classmates are. Here are two of my favourite quotes from them:

"The president is coming to Springfield? Oh, this is great! It's a sign from God!" (upon hearing this for the first time; I was sitting next to her)

"I'm so glad he's coming . . . Kerry and Edwards have been here twice, and I'm so glad we're getting some real, seasoned leaders here."

Ugh. I can't wait to read the quotes from the spectators in tomorrow's paper.

to sit in a chair and read a goat story for 7 minutes while leader of a nation being attacked.
