5. I was thinking
about something the other day. Usually during elections, the candidates speak to motivate their base. You have to take notice that shrub talks in sound bytes and incomplete sentences, and Kerry talks very intelligent like. One day, Shrub was out for Dem votes and gave a speech accordingly. The man almost sounded intelligent! This has to tell you something! Man, I hate to say this, but republicans do not come across as intelligent people. I also don't believe them to be original thinkers. They have to be told what to think.

6. Bush relies mainly on four types of people for his support:
1. Diehard Republicans who consider their party affiliation to be a matter of faith, just like their religious convictions.

2. Some (but not all) evangelical Christians, who obey their church leaders. Mostly these folks like to be told what to believe and what to do, and they are incapable of independent thinking.

3. "Good ol' boys" (and gals). They like Bush's folksy "aw shucks" style, and take him to be one of their own. They don't know that Bush was actually born a Connecticut yankee, and that he graduated from Ivy league schools (Yale and Harvard).

4. Greedy rich people (and those who would like to be greedy rich people). These folks cherish their tax cuts above all else. Let their neighbors lose their jobs and starve. Means nothing to them. This group works to exploit the other three groups.

8. I'd add lazy people
who are not aware of how important this election is. They 'watch the news' every night and think they are informed, not realizing how slanted the news is.

9. Yes, another category, the misinformed.
Let's add this group, who believe the lies told to them by the slanted news media.
