What the F*K is all the Kerry PREP about? Only 2 Questions count:

1. Was he a self-promoting, cowardly traitor 35 years ago, as
his Swift Boat "buddies" say?

2. Has he been a flip-flopper over the war on terror and Iraq?

Answering those two questions is all that Kerry should be focused
on.

Until he decisively and definitively attacks and defeats these
smears on his character the "swing-voter" is not going to hear
anything else.

Once he deals with those questions these voters will start to
pay attention to his ADs and position blurbs in the media.

2. He has dealt with them. The media doesn't report it though
There are 5 to 7 % undecideds and those will go to Kerry.

5. Exactly; and the American citizens want to know about NOW.
Iraq, economy, health care, prrescription drugs, etc.

NO MORE TRIVIAL PURSUIT, DAMMIT!

11. Believing this is THE DANGER. Ave Joe & Jane did not hear it. Debates
is the only change for JK to get the message out to a lot of
voters. If he misses it, it will not happen because the media
is not inclined to help. Bush is not likely to open the door
to give him the opening.

JK has to create an opportunity to speak to the voters to
rebut these smears, regardless of the debate questions.

3. this is precisely why the "flip flop"
moniker drives me mad. Kerry has been entirely consistant.
He trusted the government and when he saw it erring he spoke out. Just as he did with the 87 billion vote.

Or as some other poster said, better to flip flop than be a complete and utter flop.

6. The 87 billion question....
Edited on Sun Sep-26-04 10:15 AM by kerryin2004
He can answer with the truth.. I was for it when it first came to my desk but pResident Bush was going to veto it because it was paid for by the tax cuts he gave to the top 2% and , and I voted against it as a protest to tell the president that someone will stand against his bullying and free handouts to his Halliburton friends..

I can't believe anyone would say that I don't support the troops since it was you president Bush, who allowed them to go into Iraq without the proper equipment in the first place.. It was you president Bush, who should have known what the military lacked before going into Iraq.. If you didn't know before Afghanistan, it should have alerted you to what the troops needed.. Mr pResident, you irresponsibly sent these fine men and women into combat in Iraq without the proper equipment, and to pronounce otherwise is simply two faced!!

7. Kerry has answered those questions decisively
Why hasn't bush answered why he lied about going into Iraq?

Why hasn't bush answered where he wasn't in Alabama when he was required to for the National Guard

Kerry is talking the issues that affect people today, and by impling that he should be talking about issues he has already made clear, plays right into the repugs hands, so they do NOT HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THE ISSUES!!!

8. You're right...
The media never seems to focus on the fact that Bush has not answered one question in regards to his own record.. It is very sad that our countries press has degenerated into a puppet for this White House cabel..

10. The debates will clear this up once and for all
Even the talking heads will not be able to spin this once Kerry has the opportunity to tell the Americans the truth!!!

13. Watch out..
That Bush is a master debater.. He is like a cross between Reagan and Kennedy, with a little Clinton tossed i for good measure, and Kerry should prepare like never before.. Don't misunderestimate the Bushes strategerie of pronouncing a few words wrong, etc.. That is all part of the dog and pony show, and Bush has never, ever lost a debate!

15. Hope Kerry can make up for the F* up. Cahill should have rolled out
a real counter-attack immediately. Wonder if she is still in
the cold room.

16. Problem started with DNC bad choice of date for Convention
Edited on Tue Sep-28-04 11:57 AM by WiseMen

Was insane for Kerry to have a 1 month vulnerabiliy and disadvantage
in fundraising and spending on counter-offensive.

17. It was SUICIDE for Dems to ignore SmearVets. They should have been axed
preemptively before their Ads went to Air.
