Where will you be watching the debates ?
Edited on Sun Sep-26-04 09:05 AM by devrc243
We have a debate party at our DEM/KERRY headquarters and an hour or two before the debate we will get a conference call from Kerry, so I don't want to miss that, but I don't want to embarass myself screaming at the screen during the debates;) and I would like to be close to DU...

I'm sure by Thursday, it be will clear!:)

What are your plans? Four days and counting :bounce: I just can't wait!

:kick: GO KERRY --KICK ASS! :kick:

1. I've already tested out
the wireless modem that I put in my husband's laptop for our new cable internet... yes, it works FINE when I'm sitting on the couch :bounce: So that's where my husband and I will be, sitting on the couch, BIG drinks in hand, I'm sure, and DU in my lap! :)

I don't think I could handle doing a big party thing - any more than I will be able to on election night. I'll be too nervous. :puke:

this is almost too intense for a big party --if that makes sense:eyes:

I like the group of DEMS here but I don't want to miss a beat of this debate. I'm sure DU will on high mode! I haven't missed a presidential debate in the last 20 years and I don't remember it being this intense either!

5. From an undisclosed, underground
bunker. If I were out among people I might start lobbing bricks or using my recently acquired AK-47 after listening to a steady stream of lies from the shrub for 90 minutes.

7. I'll have to Tivo the debate.
I wrote a comedy routine for one of the performers for an aids fundraiser that night and I want to see how it goes. Here's his opening joke:

Tonight is the debate between John Kerry and george bush*. I had the tv on in the background when I was getting ready and they showed bush* arriving in Florida and he was surrounded by a whole bunch of policemen. As it turns out it was just his security detail, but I thought he was finally being arrested for impersonating a president.

Whaddya think?

:-)
