Poll question: Local or Washington Endorsements?
Which are better? Do Senators have the intact ground operations ready to go the way people residing in the State have? I really don't know.

(I've never created a poll, hope this works!)

1. I wouldn't pick either...it depends on who is doing the endorsing...
Some Senators are very very popular at home. Others aren't.

The same way...a local official in trouble isn't going to help much with an endorsement...but a popular local official does.

Here in Illinois...before he passed away, Paul Simon's endorsement was possibly the most valuable in the state and he wasn't even in office anymore.

2. It depends
Some local can be big. Some Washington can be big. In NY, a Hillary endorsement would be huge. A Chuck Shumer wouldn't be.
