Chefs locked in laundry room because of Cheney
Edited on Sat Sep-25-04 07:05 PM by juajen
Heard on the street in Lafayette that during Cheney's visit yesterday, all the chefs at the Club where he was eating and speaking were locked in the laundry room for two hours, while a selected chef prepared his meal. Anyone else hearing this?

Edited to add: Someone else said that all kitchen staff were locked in, after preparing the food and while waitstaff served. Still said it was about two hours.

2. They should have put Cheney in the laundry room
where he'd be safe and "undisclosed."

They are SO scared -- they must know how they've made people hate them.

8. Don't know the answer to that since I wasn't there, however
there is talk going around here about this incident. I agree with the poster who said they should have just been asked to "take a break". Unbelievable, isn't it?

6. Well, I guess one has reason to be afraid
when you are the one who runs the biggest empire in the world, and you're doing a sh*tty job.

Hey, I lived in Lafayette for a short time a million years ago! HOW YA'LL ARE DOWN THERE? :hi:
