The attacks on Dean aren't slowing down his bat

The latest Dean fundraiser is to raise $700,000 (7 states/$700,000) by midnight tonight and we are fast closing in on this goal. So far Dean supporters have contributed $583,910.84 for an average contribution of $63.70 from 9,167 contributors.

This is another indication of why Dean will be able to compete with Bush after the primaries. He won't have his hands tied behind his back and when the fight is Dean vs. Bush you can bet the donations will really be pouring in.

If we wins supporters of the other candidates will also contribute. Add up all the fundraising that the Dems have done, put it into one candidate and you pretty much equal Dubya.

Attacks should have that effect, as they galvanize supporters and encourage them to donate further. So, it's no surprise that contributions increase when others attack.
