If Kerry wins the Electoral Vote, but loses the popular vote...
what do you think we'll hear? Come on. You KNOW the first thing out of their mouths will be "Since September 11" or "After September 11" or some such bushit.

I have a preview:

"Kerry should order his electors to vote for Bush."

Then everyone will say "But what about the last election? Aren't you being a bunch of hypocrites?"

"Not at all. Since September 11, everything has changed. We cannot afford to show weakness in our fight against terror. The American people have to support the commander-in-chief, and having a minority president will strengthen the terrorists' resolve."

1. We'll hear some of the same things we said in 2000.
Gotta be honest about it.

2. What did we say?

We didn't say anything. We let them steal the election.

3. Also scary is if Kerry wins the popular vote in a state
but a Right Wing State congress tries to override the will of the people and selects their own electors.

5. In that case, go to that state's capital...
... and fill the streets to the point where the city is shut down.

Seriously.

7. the bushies were ready to fight that fight in 2000
they thought it was a possibility and they were ready to argue to the public and in court that they should take the election because of it.

but of course they had a backup argument.
