No Backlash To The New York Post's Nazi Comparison
Edited on Fri Jan-09-04 12:10 PM by 45th Med
As MoveOn.org endures a media lynching in response to two ad contest entries that featured comparisons of President Bush to Adolph Hitler, there is as yet little outcry against a New York Post column by Ralph Peters comparing Howard Dean supporters to Hitler's Brownshirts and Dean himself to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.

By Timothy Karr

Witness media's double-standard in action:

1. the comparison isn't really that far off
his campaign is based on emotion over logic.

the column didn't say that Dean and his campaign were as bad as nazi's. He just said that it's very propaganda-heavy

3. I can't stand anything Ralph "Office Boy" Peters says.
While I was humping a ruck in the Kuwaiti Desert he was shuffling papers in the Pentagon. LOL, I guess my post is based on emotion over logic too, my bad.

4. Think about it for a minute,
comparing Dean and his supporters to Goebbels and the Brown Shirts, because of a "campaign is based on emotion over logic", is like comparing Clark to Pinochet because he's they are both Generals. Neither comparison is valid, but they both lead to the impression that one is associated with the other. By the way I don't think Clark is anything like Pinochet.
