1. Registered Voters - wonder if they force to average party affiliation?
Gallup refuses to do so - and allows 50% more GOP than Dem into the final numbers.

I like Zogby's forcing the sample to represent the actual electorate.

6. Yep.
Political experts expect increase in young voters
http://www.showmenews.com/2004/Sep/20040912News031.asp

"Young people" are "energized in numbers that we haven’t seen in our entire history,"

An MTV poll conducted last month showed 62 percent of 18- to 24-year-olds indicated they would definitely vote this November, up from 41 percent from 2000 and up from the previous high of 57 percent in 1992...

Poll Gives Kerry Big Lead Among Voters Under 30
http://www.mtv.com/chooseorlose/headlines/news.jhtml?id=1491234

Overall, Kerry has a substantial lead among voters under thirty, a reversal of the Bush's nine-point advantage among all registered voters. In a head-to-head contest, Kerry is leading Bush by 10 points (51-41)

The more the youngins vote, the better for Kerry. Clearly!

3. thanks tony. i really enjoy looking at the economist polls internals
though of course the absolute key of keys is our turnout. if we turn out an energized, diverse group that we have supporting kerry, no way we can lose.

4. This is more like what I was actually reading
the last three months. Big John got about a four point bounce w/DNC tapered back to even in four weeks. Bush got a one point bounce that is gone, already.
Much more rational.
