Gallup vs Harris ? Who the hell to believe ?
The latest Gallup poll says Bush is up by 14 points. The latest Harris poll says Kerry is up by 1 point. Which poll are we supposed to believe? Which is closer to reality? Judging from the last election, the odds are that Mr Harris is much closer to the truth than Mr Gallup.

Chances are that if their future and their credibility were at stake, they might both have different results in their polls. But, predictably, either of them can change their polls just one or two points a week between now and the election and be situated at opposite positions from where they now sit.

Basically, they are meaningless because they already plan on changing between now and November 2nd. They know todays polls are not accurate. Yet, they continue to exploit their numbers as if they actually meant something. They mean absolutely nothing.

2. They mean nothing
Yet a bunch of us are obsessing over them. I know I am. It's infotainment.

The only poll that matters is the one in November.

3. UGH! - Why bother worrying
Sorry, Kentuck, I had to respond somewhere! Polls are polls...nothing matters until it gets near the end...

Sorry again!!!

4. bogus
That would be an impossible turn of events. This is payback for the CBS
deal and leak of intelligence report, too much heat.

5. It's just got to be the Harris poll.
Although it's only 'fun' to me as a political campaign junkie. I'm hoping the changes in Kerry's team will cause the numbers to go in a more comfortable direction.
