it's just a pack of lies.

Iraq is just GREAT.

4. People Have Blinders Firmly In Place...
Iraq was like 2003...old, passe, boring, no longer fun. We're not running around in dune buggies, blowing up things and pulling down statues. Now THAT was a fun war </sarcasm off>

This distresses as the worst lessons of Vietnam are about to replay in this country...not the ones fought and won/lost on the battlefield, but in the streets of this country. There are many who fear some Arab-looking "terrorist" flying a train into their red state and have swallowed a lifetime of right wing rhetoric of hate and fear.

People are denying this invasion since they can't feel it. When they lose a child or loved one, or see walking wounded on our streets or have to pay higher taxes or even higher oil prices...maybe, then maybe they'll care.

This regime is banking on so many people not caring about Iraq and short of a Tet where the entire country rises up, the drip drip drip of the daily dying is just noise in the background now.

of their "liberators?"
