to a Native American tribal leader he'd pay a visit to Alaska. He initially joked he'd wait until summer, but the pit stop in Alaska was announced the next day.

ANOTHER INVITE: An Alaskan tribal leader told POTUS to come visit "if you want to get away from it all."

"I often want to get away from it all," Obama said. "The only thing I do want you to understand is when I do visit Alaska it’s going to be in the summer ... I just want to be clear about that." (10:05 a.m.)
