Lou Dobbs going in a new direction may be the best thing possible for the DEMs
He could easily become the de facto leader and public dace of the tea baggers and the Birthers. If they get some organization heft behind them and start running a GOP insurgency or an independent insurgency it might easily work to split the GOP inrto an internecine mess in the run up to the mid-terms.

As a movement these folks are going to have a pretty short shelf life unless they figure out organize and formalize and that is as the outset going to require a leader. Dobbs is the Guy.

1. But they dont want to organize, that's the funny part...
...... they're so latched on to the notion of being a bunch of independents, they wont even form state parties. Did you see what Rachel said the other night where she referred to the Florida Tea Party and then got a letter from them saying there was no such thing?

If it weren't for the insurance companies telling these folks what to do, they'd be clueless. :)

2. Well part of it that to be sure..but also as soon as they start working on a platform they wiill
start dividing into camps

bless their clues souls they need someone to lead them vecause as soon as the HCR debate ends.....they will have no astroturf funding. Because there is no corporate consensus on immigration reform. which most assuredly is going to be the major issue next year to divide the GOP just like the Stupak Amendment divides us.
