Did you hear that racist lady on the Randi Rhodes show?
First she said she used to work in a doctor's office. She said people who can barely speak English walk into the doctors offices on medicare wearing expensive jewelry and driving a expensive car. Randi called her a liar and a racist.

Teabagger!

2. Um, medicare is not a need-based plan.
So while I am not going to take her word for it, even if true it proves nothing.

I suppose she could instantly appraise ones jewelry. Anyway, I don't think one should have to part with all her personal effects including inherited items just because she gets sick.

8. You'd be surprised how many of these idiots call the talk shows
and declare that people should do just that. Heard a caller on the Ed Schultz show say the same thing.

6. The thing is, my son's mother-in-law is a citizen, speaks English haltingly, and is very well off.
Some people just defy stereotypes, you know.

Another friend of mine is from a central Texas town where German is the first language. Many in that town, while born in the US, learn English as a second language in school, but primarily speak German in the community.

A few towns over, the same is true of Americans who speak Spanish as their first language.

You just can't make assumptions about such things. You never could.

16. My husband is from Central Texas and his first language was
Czech. His mom's side is German and they spoke fluent German...and both sides were affluent farming families. So, yes, there are many areas where there are populations speak languages other than English. Good grief, we're overrun with bigotted idiots.

12. Medicare is for all economic Groups. For Gosh sakes
Warren Buffett can have Medicare.

Furthermore, that Tea Bagger's parents are on Medicare
if they are still living.

What is his/ her problem.

He must be younger. He is trying to make the age old
Welfare Queen argument. Ask him if he considers
his parents Welfare Cheats.

Get your programs straightened out.

18. I'm going to be honest, some of that is very true. I don't know how, but I went into
a social services office and some of the people on medicare/medicaid were leaving the building in SUVs and other nice cars. Not all but some. THeir is definitely some fraud in Medicare/Medicaid. One of them was in a Hummer.

I'm a minority, so I know I'm not racist. Just something I noticed.
