An email today from Mitch Stewart about the vote on health care in the house said "...All signs
point to it being incredibly close, possibly even coming down to a single vote". If it is down to a single vote or two or three, we are hurting. I didn't know it was that bad with the Blue Dogs.

1. I have been reading about a possible postponement of the vote to
Either Sunday or early in the next week. It is a good thing Obama is going to pay them a visit today. Hopefully that will get things moving again.

2. There will be 8-14 defectors on the vote from the left.
Happened with the ACES bill too.

3. There may be progressives who stick to their guns and demand a more consumer friendly bill.
As written, the bill is a huge give away to the insurance industry, and it won't keep costs down which means that in the future peoples benefits will be cut back.

4. I do not understand
the Blue "down and dirty" dogs. All signs point to them being voted out if the don't go for the Health bill (in most of their states) yet they still aren't going to vote for it. Is the money from insurance companies that tempting that they would give up their seats just to reap it in.

Whether they believe it or not, especially Blance Lincoln is gone if she doesn't vote for it and I know of a lot of others that I have heard about who will be kicked out if they don't. Maybe the think the public is bluffing. If they do they don't know people when they want health coverage. When they see their kids and family members suffering for lack of help, not being able to afford medicine. They better damn site wake up.
