The Biggest Loser in Yesterday's Elections...Charlie Crist
Seriously. NRSC chairman John Cornyn (R-TX) has announced that the GOP's national Senate committee will not be spending money in contested primaries which is going to hurt Charlie in fundraising because the tea-baggers will give to Rubio and will turn out in droves to support him. Plus the fact that two more of his money guys are in deep serious.

They're comin' for ya Chuck...wear a helmet...

2. That's probably good.
Don't forget we went blue in 2008. We worked hard for Obama and will do the same for whomever is the Democratic nominee, and hopefully not a bluedog. It would be wonderful to have two Dems in the Senate.

6. Prediction: Crist mops the floor with Rubio...
and who knows... Crist may turn out to be 'as' or more liberal than Bill Nelson... and frankly that would be nice.

Crist currently holds a 49% to 35% lead over Rubio among likely Republican Primary voters... http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections2/election_2010/election_2010_senate_elections/florida/election_2010_florida_senate

Charlie Crist (R-FL), the big frontrunner for this perennial swing state's open Senate seat in 2010, has announced an astonishingly good fundraising quarter: $4.3 million ... As it turns out, the actual advantage is more like a 12.6-1 ratio, further solidifying Crist's momentum in this race... http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009/07/crist-raises-43-million-for-2010-florida-senate-race.php
