Joe Lieberman has spent his entire career killing any shot at real health care reform. There is no reason to think he will not spend the rest of 2009 making sure it dies this time too.

3. I'm familiar with that piece BUT
But I don't know that the phrase "she works" in the present tense is correct. My understanding is that she left that particular job after a fairly brief term there before the election in 2006. I haven't been able to find anything that has her doing anything more recently.

6. She did quit before the Senate race in 2006, I am not sure what she is doing now.

"Actually, Mrs. Lieberman abruptly quit the Hill & Knowlton job sometime earlier this year, perhaps sensitive to the problems her position might create for her husband in a contested Democratic primary, during a year when lobbying and corruption are potent issues. The Liebermans’ 2005 federal tax return, released by his campaign in July, showed that Hill & Knowlton had paid her almost $77,000. In the past she has worked for a lobbying company, APCO Associates, that had many pharmaceutical and healthcare corporations among its clients, as well as for major drug companies such as Pfizer." This was posted in 2006.

7. Well, that answers that..
thanks, Jennicut!

Lieberman has some other strong reasons why he's denying more afforable health coverage to the people.

And we apologize for Joe Lieberman too.
I did not know it goes back fifteen years for the asshole I have to call my Senator.
